Today, something a little less work-related. I would like to invite you to go surfing with Reporting.cz. And I don't mean that figuratively. This year, we became partners of the Czech-Slovak River Surfing Cup, a sport that is only just building its tradition here. The Prague race takes place this weekend, 25–26 May 2024, and you can watch it right on the Vltava at Štvanice. You will have a perfect view from Hlávka Bridge or from the cycle path near the Hilton hotel.
With a little exaggeration, river surfing and its only Prague surf contest, Finbreaker, could be called a promising start-up in the world of sport – which is exactly why we were so keen to become its partner. We like innovation. So that as many people as possible can enjoy this new sport, we decided to share our excitement with you and invite you to watch the international competition.
Riders are judged on the number of tricks and the flow of their movement on a standing wave. The competition is open, and surfing powers such as Austria, Germany and Switzerland will also take part. So there will be plenty to see!
